We're glad you are visiting Lebanon Christian Church...and we know all the "new church" stuff can be confusing. Hopefully this will answer some of your questions.

What is Lebanon Christian Church like?

We are a family...a family who loves to get together, whether it's for fellowship or service or worship. We are hard-working folks just like you. We are your friends, neighbors, and co-workers who worship a loving God. We value relationship with God and each other over religion. We are kids, teens, young families, singles, empty-nesters. We are busy people with full lives, but we understand how important it is to have God at the fore-front of our lives.

What are our services like?

Our services are an upbeat blended style. Our worship team consist of a vocal team and a band which plays everything from guitar and drums to keyboard and saxophone. We sing contemporary worship songs and hymns as well. The service lasts about a hour and fifteen minutes and includes singing, communion and offering time, a message and a time of prayer and response.

What should I wear?

We are a come-as-you-are group of people. On Sunday mornings you will see people dressed in everything from jeans or shorts to dress clothes. We want everyone to feel at home, but we ask that you do consider the modesty of your clothing choice.

What about communion and offering?

Communion is available to all believers in Christ. The plates are passed along the row and you are invited to partake as it is passed and spend time alone with God in prayer. As a guest, you are not expected to make an offering. Offerings are made by our members as part of their commitment to God and the church.

Where do I go if I have questions when I get there?

There are greeters at each door before services and a Guest Services center located in the main foyer (at the entrance under the canopy). Any greeter or Guest Services host should be able to assist you.

What if I want to go deeper?

We invite you to join one of our Adult Bible Fellowship classes on Sunday mornings or Adult Bible Studies throughout the week. Contact Kurt Alexander about which class might be a good fit for you.

What about my kids?

Your kids are more than welcome to stay in "big church" with you. If not, programs are offered for all kids, ages birth through high school. Click here for more information on our children's programming. We value safety in our children's programs, so our volunteers all go through background checks and approval. You must register your children if they will be attending classes or services. Hosts will be available at the check-in stations to help you do that when you arrive. Then each time they come for a program, be sure to go through the check-in process in either lobby.
