Digital Bulletin 2.19.25

Did you know? The Elders are in the process of planning the next steps to replace our Senior Minister Craig Howie.  We thank Craig and Audrey for their faithful service at LCC. Continue to pray for them as they continue to serve the Kingdom at Greenwood Christian Church.

Our search committee has been formed. This includes the Elders: Matt Busenbarrick, Rod Dunahee, Mark Sanders, and Sam Guilliams.  Staff: Sean Rittenberry.  LCC members: Jeff & Tammy McClintic, Marion & Kathy Galvin, Brandon & Gretchen Williamson, Jason & Annette Jones.

We have our guest preachers planned through the first Sunday in May which will include Gary Black, Sam Guilliams, and from Hanging Rock Camp, Gary Baker.

We will update you on a regular basis when we have additional information.  Please continue to pray for LCC, the search committee and for God's provision and timing for our next Senior Minster.

Always feel free to reach out to any of the Elders with your questions or concerns.

Catalyst Bible Studies

At LCC our Catalyst Bible Studies are intended to you learn God's Word to more faithfully live His Way.  The word "catalyst" refers to that which starts something else.  God never intended for us to only grow to learn more about Him, but as we do to live more like He intends.  Our Catalyst Bible Studies aim to do this.

With our addition of Rightnow Media as a church, leading a Catalyst Bible Study has never been more accessible.  If you think that you might want to lead a Catalyst Bible Study please reach out to kurt@lebanonchristian.org or craig@lebanonchristian.org as we will schedule training with you.  All teachers and facilitators are required to be members of Lebanon Christian Church, exhibit the fruits of a growing relationship with Jesus, and have completed our Teacher Training.

Catalyst Bible Studies can take place anytime during the week.  On Sunday mornings we have the benefit of offering age-appropriate worship environments for children and students.  But you can lead a study anytime throughout the week onsite or offsite as long as you fulfill the criteria above.

NEW Study “What is the Church?” A CATALYST Bible Study for Women: Sundays at 9am in room 117

Everyone seems to have something to say about the church. But what is the church, exactly? Is it a nice building with a steeple? An experience on a Sunday morning? In this series, author and pastor Derwin Gray examines Acts and Paul’s letters to explain what the church is, how it began, what it does, and its mission. This series will inspire you to learn from the rich history of the church and will motivate you to

act as an empowered member of the family of God. At this time of transition at LCC, it is important that we all understand the role we play in the Body of Christ. Join Hannah Myers and other women on Sundays at 9am in room 117, beginning February 16, as we explore for five weeks who we are and what we do as the church.
